The passion for this sport is marked from memory so far by this time.
The charm for an engine roar make us curios from we was childs, and the first veichle we have driver was a farm tractor, and so we won the first race of our life!
The passion, the profession and interesting in farming make shoot the spark in loving the most powerful sport in the world!
As webmaster, I will tell you our history, very simply but full of important event.

Year 2005
Paolo Caldani drive the “FIAT 25” owned by “Brio team”, in the Italian Pulling class.
So, the first step in this sport unknown in Italy, let Paolo to increase his driving experience in pulling, with tractor more powerful race after race.

Year 2006
The season of Paolo is in a true category of tractor pulling, driving a super stock as demo-pull because no other tractor was pulling in the same category.
Caldani push the throttle of “Cuore Rosso” owned by Alessandro Gentilini, a tractor builded in Germany, named Dschinni, based on IH 1046 metanol feeded.
In the same year join the A.G. Race team Giuseppe Golfari and Davide Zannoni, firms of Paolo in the working life of farm tractors repairing.

Year 2007
Davide, Giuseppe and Paolo split from A.G. Race and establish the Zancaldi Pulling Team.
Just three guys and so the motto “fews but clevers” because they have a lot of work to do for build the new tractor: a pro-stock IH, naturally!
Giuseppe Golfari is the engine-man and is occupation is to build and tuning the IH engine.; out from the workshop is the logistic-man and do the public-relation.
Davide Zannoni build the special-parts for the CASE IH tractor giving some attention to the travel stuff expecially the foods.
Paolo Caldani build the chassis in all the parts and drive the new tractor.
The choose of the pro-stock is due to the challenge in trasforming a farm tractor in a race tractor!
Tiziano Solaroli, named “the foreman”, from Pezzolo Pulling Team, help us in buing a IH 1246.
The old red iron was totally rebuilded in a Pro-stock with charming racing style for pull in the pro-stock class in 2007 italian championship.
So let’s start the new adventure of the “E ROSS” (the Red One) borned in the winter!
All the challenge, the victories and our efforts are incredibile satisfactions that only the pulling passionated like us can understand!
The engine has been developed for increase power, but at first experience there’s a lot of things to learn:, the best performance were 2 third places.

Year 2008
The team work for improving the performance of the E ROSS, but keeping the same engine.
We finished the tractor at the 4.00 in the morning before the race and we have never tested the tractor.
So we are ready for the qualification: the full-pull is passed but… with fire under the hood!
Check-up around the engine: oil-filter basket broken, no problem, we think “could be worst”!
the E ROSS can hook the sledge for the pull-off.
Green flag for the CASE IH PUMA and so the tractor start!
The engine run hanged but go haed, slowly.
Once in a while a bang stop the tractor, nothing to do for us today, is finished!
In a couple of second the final verdict: first!!!!
Another win in Gonzaga pulls and a third palce in Torino: at the end of the championship we were fifth.

Year 2009
Due to a lot of problem in the past season, some changes are made in the tractor.
New gear in the trasmission for increase the wheel speed and new pistons for decrease the compression-ratio with a bigger turbo.
Firestone Puller 2000 HP tyres and Midweest alluminiun rims are buyed in USA for save weight.
For the Zancaldi team is a new challenge with a new tractor because all the upgrades are to be tested at the first race.
At first pull of italian championship a problem in the water injection, low quantità, melted the piston in the qualification.
The check-up of the demage is a great show for all the fans around the CASE IH, so the defeated in the track is a victory in the paddock.
Other race with the same problem but the best place is in home-pulll, Pezzolo di Russi, is the best result of the season.

Year 2010
In the 2010 the season new memebers join Zancaldi Pulling team: Mattia, Stefano and me.
